Hi, I’m Linda!

And this is my story. A Lifelong Journey of Health & Wellness


When you see me today, a healthy woman in her 60s, it's hard to imagine that my journey to this point wasn’t always smooth. With over 40 years of experience in the fitness and wellness field, I’ve overcome many challenges to be where I am today. My journey began as an under-muscled, 99lb weakling with food allergies, skin issues, and a low self-concept. Two pivotal moments changed the trajectory of my life.

A Wake-Up Call:

Health is in Our Control

 

In University, a professor highlighted that 22 body systems decline with age, deflating the room. But then came hope: “The good news is that all of these can be stopped or slowed with regular physical training!” This ignited something within me. I became intentional about my health, realizing that we have the power to be proactive in our well-being.

A Scientific Foundation for Fitness


Fueled by this passion, I pursued a B.Sc. in Physics to gain a deeper understanding of biomechanics and the human body. This scientific background allowed me to merge subtle nuances of science with practical, everyday living. Soon after, I launched the Weight Training for Women program, which became a flagship initiative across five countries.

 

Global Experience:

I've Learned from Diverse Cultures

My career spans various sectors, including ergonomics, fitness, and health industries across Canada, the USA, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Beijing. Leading in the fitness industry while engaging with diverse communities helped me develop a global perspective on health.

I’ve also worked alongside elite athletes, including my husband, Rich, a Canadian National Team Track & Field Decathlete and Athlete Development Coach with decades of experience. His work with athletes and Olympians inspired me to bridge the gap between their mindset and the general fitness clients I work with. This culture shock continues to motivate me to help my clients tap into their highest potential.

A Holistic Approach to Health

 

My deep understanding of physics and biology enables me to blend Eastern and Western health practices. I give logical explanations for ancient methods, making them accessible and practical for today’s world.

I’ve learned that many of our beliefs—some traced back 15 generations—can limit our progress. Using the science of epigenetics, I help clients shift these subconscious blocks and activate their genes to support transformation.
